Wonderful Wednesday!

Today was another fun filled day at Longridge! We started off in the Sonrise Worship Celebration where Alan Daniels led the Praise Team in some great music. We continued the morning by learning about our purpose in life, and how to live for God's purpose. After a short break, we discussed the lesson in the Team Talk Back Time. I have the pleasure of leading the Orange team in the sessions, and they have been wonderful! After that we began the activity of the day: the Team Scavenger Hunt. From leap frogging to the volleyball court to belly flopping in the lake- I know the Green team worked really hard at all the stations! After lunch we played with ROBERTA, the big blue ball, in a game of water volleyball down at the lake. During free time the students had their pick of many water activities such as the zip line, slide, and diving board. Some also chose to hang out on the beach with friends.
After supper, we had a joint Bible Study in the chapel, led by Alan Daniels, where we discussed knowing God and living a daily relationship with Him. We had another Talk Back Session (Thanks Orange!) and headed down for the Worship Service. Mr Frank discussed physical purity and the value of abstinence. He passed out True Love Waits heart keychains to all the students- with a commitment that they will stay pure until marriage.
After another canteen break it was on to the Talent Show, a camp favorite. There was a lot of great skits and performances by the students this week! Blue Team won the team skit competition but a great time was had by all.

Now it's time for me to head back to Cabin 1 for group devotion and bed. Goodnight!
