ONE OF THEM CAMP DAYS
Today was our first full day of camp and it started out full throttle from the beginning. Todays 11:00 activity entitled "Chaos" was just that. It was a hit as all the campers participated in some good clean (ok really messy) events. To hear the excitement in the voices of the campers as their team pulled together to outdo the opposing teams was overwhelming. Following our free time and dinner, our sermon for the night was in a different setting. Frank spoke on baptism, and to add a little flavor he had his sermon by the lake in the old chapel. When the moving chapel came to an end, the campers took it to the canteen for some refreshments and a some "energy-release" time. With the descention of the sun, the clear, dark night gave way to our next activity. The staff along with Frank brought a heartfelt message to the students on the significance and glory of the Cross. Emotions ran the gamet as the students encountered great fellowship in the shooting of fireworks and a bonfire. Songs were sang and mellows were toasted, and in the end He was glorified!
