Monday June 13, 2005 Start of Week Two

And it's of the week has began! The kids started arriving at 12:15 p.m. Pump up and ready for there week at camp Longridge! The kids got out and off the vans, and bus and ran on into the chapel started playing games an having fun. But they did not spend to much time in the chapel before they know what cabins and team they were on, and out the chapel they went. Jumped into there bathing suits and down to Clark Lake for some swim time!Yaaaaa! "Everyone loves time at the lake swimming, riding the slide, the zipline, diving board, and don't forget the paddle boats!" After have a blast down at the lake we came back up the hill and clean up for some fun games with our teams ( i will not disclose those games at the time so if you are coming at a latter date) very fun fun fun games. Then we took a few mins. to feed our bodies. With a wonderful meal prepared by Mrs.Sara. After filling our bodies we got to have some time in our cabins meeting our staffers in the cabins. Get to meet everyone in the cabin and play some games and just get to hang out with the guys.
Chapel time its chapel time! One of the best time of the day. You get to go sing with the praise band lead by Dustin which dose an awesome job. Sing some really great songs and just worship the Lord Jesus Christ our God and Father. Which after sing Mr.Frank Shivers comes up and brings a message. Which I feel he dose an awesome job bring it down to the kids level! Frank always has done and awesome job at doing so. Last but not least I am thankful to be part of the awesome super summer staff at camp Longridge. The staff is just out standing; you will not find a better staff anywhere else in the world!
