First Monday!

Hey Everyone! This is Erica! I am proud to say that the first Monday of campers arrival went very smooth. We have registered all of the kids and we have all had an amazing first day. The students began arriving at 12:30 or so and registration started shortly after. We had everyone registered at swimming in the lake by 2:30. After lake time we had a few team activities, including a sidewalk chart art draw off and then a great game of water balloon toss. I might also add that there was a ton of cheering from the different teams. It looks like this is going to be a great week full of lots of cheering and great times had by all. For tonight's chapel service the praise band led us in a great time of worshiping God and then Mr. Frank spoke to the campers and staff about What Salvation is Like. We learned that salvation is a lot like a door, a road, and many other things (ask your kids to tell you more when they get home, I am sure they will be excited to talk about everything they have learned). After the service we had a canteen break and some team volleyball for our night activity. At this very moment the students are all headed back toward their cabins to take showers, brush their teeth, have a cabin devotional, and head to bed. As lights begin to turn out for the night, we start anticipating the excitement of what tomorrow will bring.
