finishing with a bang

As the summer dwindles down the staff's tired bodies, minds, and souls are experiencing fatigue. Much like a runner, however; it seems as if God has given us something parallel to a "second wind." The staff is pushing this last leg as if it were the beginning of the race. I know God will bless us in our race for Him as long as it remains just that, His. Today is a prime example of this. Everything from when Scott and I took the kids fishing this morning to seeing those hands go up in acceptance of Jesus into their hearts after the movie. The kids reminded me today of how God has blessed me with this opportunity. As their sweaty little smiles appear for different reasons and phrases such as "this is the best week of my life" and "I don't want to ever go home" resound in my head, I praise God for the pleasure I have in being a part of His will. And now as I write this, I can only think of bed. Until next time my precious audience.
